What information do we collect about you?

We do not process any payments through Luxury Blinds Direct, so at no point will we require your credit card details. Your payment should be made to the trade partner who installs your blinds.

Transmitting information over the internet is never completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of your data. Any data you transmit is at your own risk. However, once we receive your data, we have procedures and security features in place to try to keep your data secure.

We will not share your information with any other organisations for marketing, market research or commercial purposes, and we don’t pass on your details to other websites.

We use software to track general browsing behaviour on our Website. This means that we can build up a picture of the most popular areas and paths through the Website and any problem areas. We do not use the software to track individuals and their behaviour on a personal level.

We also monitor our Website to capture information of a general nature regarding the number of visits our Website receives, along with traffic patterns, which tells us which areas of the Website are being visited more than others. This information is helpful to us to improve our Website and the quality of the service we can offer. This data, once processed into Website reports, does not contain any personal information.

What we do with your information: general

If you wish to buy something from us, we will request your name, email address, phone or mobile number, and address. If you are ordering blinds on behalf of a third party and therefore need to supply their address instead, this is the address we will require. All of this information is only used in the processing of your order, and to arrange for one of our trade partners to measure and install your blinds for you. You may also decide to sign up for our newsletter, in which case we will receive your email address. This will only be used to send you our newsletter and news of special offers.

In addition to processing your order, we also maintain a record of the purchases you make from us. This allows us to track your deliveries and to review your past purchases.

LuxuryBlindsDirect works with trusted trade partners to fulfil your order. LuxuryBlindsDIrect oversee the printing and manufacturing of your blinds, whilst your nearest trade partner will visit your home to measure your windows and later fit your blinds. Due to the involvement of trade partners, we will need to pass your details on to your local trade partner once you have chosen to make an appointment. By choosing to make an appointment, you are agreeing to this.
